Briarcliff Development Company was formed by Charles Garney and began in residential lot development with Briarcliff West in the early 1990’s. Since then, Briarcliff has grown to over 600,000 square feet of class “A” office and boutique retail space in addition to hundreds of residential homes, condos and apartments. Briarcliff will continue to expand its presence in the Northland and take with it a reputation of great service and product.

Briarcliff Masterplan
Briarcliff is a 600+ acre master planned community nestled on the bluffs just a few miles north of Downtown Kansas City, Missouri. This mixed use development is the vision of Mr. Charles Garney who began assembling land over 40 years ago. After developing the Briarcliff West residential project, he built several class “A” office buildings and the mixed-use retail/office center, Briarcliff Village. Development continues with additional luxury apartment units, office building and a hotel/conference facility slated for completion in 2012. Briarcliff will continue to grow as we seek additional nearby expansion opportunities as we strive to continue to earn our reputation as being “The Best Neighborhood in Kansas City” (Kansas City Star).
